I didn’t go to the doctor, but I’m sure I had hemorrhoids. For about a week I had bleeding and severe itching and irritation. The itching and bleeding went away, but it is now 4 months later and I still have irritation around my anus. It feels sore and irritated. What can this be? Any advice? Thank you.

I think I may have a hemorrhoid. Every time I’ve been going to the bathroom between yesterday and today, I’ve been bleeding profusely – I would say 1/2 pint of blood EASY.

I’m a 21 year old male, 165 LBS, and have no other medical conditions.

I was told that hemorrhoids can be left untreated because they heal on their own. The problem is, every time I need to use the bathroom hereinafter I have to face a huge tradeoff between using the bathroom and loosing a large quantity of blood. I don’t know if I should seek immediate medical attention, or stay put. I am uninsured, and the hospital bill would run me thousands – so that would be a last resort.

Also, I’ve been drinking a lot recently. Yesterday I had half a liter of vodka in a 7 hour time window. I don’t know if this is contributing to the issue.

So, another unpleasant and TMI moment in pregnancy. I am just hoping that someone else has dealt with this and can give some advice for relief. My stools in the last few weeks have been rather loose. All of a sudden (as of yesterday!), I am constipated and my stools are sooo hard. That being said, I all of a sudden have hemorrhoids! (Internal, I’m guessing, because I have very bright red blood in the toilet and in my stools). This is SO uncomfortable and not expected. I haven’t changed ANYTHING in my diet, so I have no idea what is causing this. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child (my first was born at 33 weeks and I never dealt with any of this), having lower back pain, and just overall very uncomfortable at this point If any of you ladies can provide some insight into some relief, I’d really appreciate it. I gave birth to my son on the 13th. I didn’t have any hemorrhoids during pregnancy, but I developed a hemorrhoid during the pushing phase. It is less swollen than it was in the first two days postpartum. I’m wondering when it will stop being swollen and if it will go away. Thanks

I’ve had blood in my stool for about 3 weeks and it’s starting to really worry me. Stools are normally formed, no mucous. There’s no pain, no itching. Blood is bright red, and typically only aligns to one side of the stool. I have noticed clotted blood as well, both on the stools and on the paper.

I’ve been self-treating with hemorrhoid cream, thinking of internal hemorrhoids, but again, there’s no itching, and it’s not resolving. What worries me is that it’s 3 weeks.

I plan to see a doctor, but I’m worried. Could it be just hemorrhoids? Or could it be something worse?

Every time I have to go poop…which is about once a day now, I feel very sharp pain. I always bleed also. The bleeding has gone on for over a year now, but the sharp pain just started over a month ago. I’ve tried preparation h suppositories but those don’t do anything but relieve the itching for a while…by the next day im pooping again in pain…any ideas or suggestions?

on monday i saw a little external hemorrhoid and i havent been defecating as much as i used to? i eat so healthy i have so much fiber in my foods i poop about 4 times a day 3 in the morning 1rightwhen i wake up before breakfast and 2 after breakfast then after lunch once but i think i have been stressing about it that it is not letting me deffecate ive had about 5 servings of fruits and vegetables 2day and yogurt with cereal 5 bottles of water daily what is going on i feel so bloated i dont even want to go to school. should i buy a laxant?

today is the fourth day and when i woke up in the morning, the blood is more red.
i’m currently having external hemorrhoid now. maybe that has something to do with my period ? if anyone can help me thank you

Starting probably yesterday or maybe a few days ago I started feeling a little sore in my anus, but today after I took a shower I noticed a small bump outside and around my anus area. It’s sore when I touch it and it’s a little smaller than a pea, but it doesn’t really bleed like I heard hemorrhoids do, so what’s the problem and how do I get rid of it.
