Is this guy interested in me or not? 10 pts!?
I recently started talking to this guy. I added him on Facebook but he started talking to me first. We don’t actually know each other, but we went to the same high school, have mutual friends, and have a TON of things in common. He gave me his number and we literally texted each other the entire day. We continued to text each a lot the next day and then he suggested we hang out.
So the other day he offered to teach me guitar and he invited me over. We mostly just talked for 2 hours, and I ended up staying longer than I meant to and was late for a movie. He apologized for rambling on and keeping me so long lol. Anyways, it was awkward though since it was our first time meeting each other. And he’s really cute and I like him a lot so I probably acted really awkward and stupid (hopefully guys find this cute :/ ) I noticed we couldn’t stop laughing and smiling and looking at each other, though
After I left I was hoping he’d text me later asking how the movie was or something but he didn’t. The next morning, though he “liked” the status I posted. I ended up messaging him some song links that I thought he’d like. He messaged me back saying the songs were awesome and he really liked them. I replied that I was glad and asked him what the name of this band was that he played for me while I was at his house. He messaged back “la dispute and the cd is like down by the river something something lol” I didn’t respond back just because I don’t want to look too desperate or anything.
Well today he messaged me while I was on asking how I was and saying he just realized that I forgot my book at his house and he also asked how the banjo was coming along. I didn’t know what book he was talking about because I lent him one and then he was talking about letting me borrow one but I didn’t take it with. He did tell me he didn’t need to take my book because it’d take him forever to finish it. Anyways, so I messaged him back saying “oh haha don’t worry about it” and I said I practiced my banjo this morning and practiced some of the things he taught me. He was online but he didn’t message back for a really long time. He then got off and I did too. A little over an hour passed and I got back on and he was on again, but he hadn’t replied. Figuring I said something wrong or something I messaged him saying “hey what book were you talking about? the jimi hendrix one right?” and still no reply.
What’s going on? DOes he like me or not?!

Fans of Jimi Hendrix, and late 60’s psychedelic rock in general…what do you think of Eire Apparent?

Fans of Jimi Hendrix, and late 60\’s psychedelic rock in general…what do you think of Eire Apparent?
With members from Belfast, Northern Ireland…releasing one lone LP in 1969, these guys had a pretty cool sound in my opinion. Oh yeah…and I should also mention that jimi hendrix produced their album, and played guitar on several tracks as well.
Here’s the Wiki lowdown:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eire_Apparent
Over the years, many “Hendrix Hunters” have been disappointed with this LP, expecting it to sound like a Hendrix album. I guess they presume since he produced & played on the album that they’re gonna? get “Axis” part 2 or something. The same can be said for ‘Fat Mattress’ and ‘Road’ as well, via the Noel Redding connection. Another album worth looking into with Jimi ties is the debut by ‘Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys’ – “The Street Giveth And The Street Taketh Away”, also produced by Jimi Hendrix.
Anyways…here’s a video I created/uploaded featuring five of my favourite songs from the debut album released in 1969; Eire Apparent – “Sunrise”.
My videos are quite simple production wise…with various imagery sourced from photos and scans of my vinyl album; jackets/covers, labels, etc.
The Clown / Someone Is Sure To Want You / Morning Glory / Mr. Guy Fawkes / Rock n Roll Band:
Thoughts?
Yes…we’re all aware of Rory Gallagher, and Taste, Skid Row, Gary Moore etc. I’ve always been a fan too…but comparing Rory to Eire Apparent is like comparing apples to oranges my friend. This was a 60’s psych/pop rock band. The only thing they have in common is that they were from Ireland. Do you post links to Rush videos at the Paul Anka questions too?
…Both are Canadian.
The fact is, they were from Northern Ireland. If they were from Dublin, I would have said they were from The Republic Of Ireland. That’s just the way it is…I didn’t draw the map. I’m quite sure they’re not offended…after-all, their website says this also.
Yes David…I have both LP’s by Ramatam…great guitar provided by April Lawton & Mike Pinera
