Nightmare about House Fire?

Hello I was wondering if anyone has ever had a dream like this. I wake up at 2 AM, to find my house filled with smoke and flames. Smoke alarms are blaring, so I grab as many of my folding knives as I can. Although I don’t own any firearms, I somehow grab a .44 Magnum. I break my window after I find the staircase is blocked by flames, and manually open up my garage door after disengaging it from the auto opener. I get on my dirtbike, and make a mad dash up to a friends house. All this time not one person in my family comes out of my burning house. I am covered in first, second, and third degree burns, and my friend wants to get me help. I tell her “NO!” and tell her that I need her to come with me back to my house to take care of anyone injured. I return, and not one person of my family has gotten out yet. Turns out that no one survived the fire except me. I am left in front of my burning house with my friend and my dirtbike. I was about to bring her back to her house on my dirtbike, when all of a sudden, she was standing over me saying my name, and I was on the ground. Then I woke up as I was being airlifted to the hospital. This dream has recurred at least 3 times in the last year.

Cutting… dangers? Alternatives?

I use a graphite mechanical pencil to cut… is graphite harmful if it gets into your blood? Any other ways to hurt myself without cutting? (cannot get my hands on a pocket knife) ive heard of holding ice under hot water… does that really work??

folding knife Holster?

I am 15 and am currently in the Boy Scouts of America, so if you are going to criticize me about carrying a knife (not at school or in secure/government buildings), I know how to safely handle knives and other tools, and have been doing so since I was 11 years old. MAIN QUESTION: I mountain bike, and normally carry a medium to large length folding knife on me every day. I plan to get a Cold Steel Voyager or AK-47, but have heard that the pocket clips are really stiff in the sense that it requires a noticeably large amount of force to deploy them from your pocket. Are there any companies that currently make a holster that I would be able to keep a folding knife such as one mentioned above in? I need to be able to deploy the knife relatively quickly in case of an accident or emergency requiring the use of the knife.

is it legal to carry a fixed blade survival knife?

HI, im putting together a backpack for geocaching and i want to get a bear grylls ultimate survival knife not just for geocaching but camping. what im wondering is it legal to carry any of the bear grylls knifes in my backpack, say a folding sheath knife or scout. is it legal to carry any type of survival knife since its used for survival and not as a weapon or should i look for a different knife thanks.
BTW i live in Iowa in the suburbs

I live on Long Island but am aware that NYC law is more restricting. I’m prone to carrying a pocket knife everywhere including to my job in my suit. Is it legal for me to carry the below on my person:

knife stores near chicago?

I am a knife collector, but pretty much only shop online. Does anybody know of any knife stores in chicago or the suburbs? I did search google but pretty much all that comes up is northwestern cutlery; which is a great place for kitchen cutlery, but I’m looking more for folding knives and hunting/survival type knives. Any help is much appreciated.
