Should i wait for my psp battery to die before charging it?

Hi there!
I remember how my mother always told me to wait till battery in my phone run completely out of power before i charge it. Recently i got the psp 2000 and a new phone and read online that batteries used in android phones can be charget at will and are even recomender to be charged above some limit.

So my question is: What abour my psp? Is it similiar with my android phone or should i as well try to charge it only with dead battery without turning it on?

PSP 6.20 question ????????

Ok a few minutes ago i had a system of 6.35 and i found a downgrader to 6.20 and it worked !
But the games still dont run….So i want to downgrade it even further or try to use the prometheus ISO loader, i tried it on 6.35 didnt work (it worked on 6.35 before my memory card broke).
Now i dont know what SFW or whatever there is means so i dont know what that is….
My psp is hackable because ive had it hacked downgraded using a pandora battery ( someone else did it for me) and i dont want to do the pandora again…

So can some one give me a guide to downgrade 6.20 to any other version ?
Or if not can someone give me a guide which is easy to understand since i dont understand anything about psp, to install prometheus iso loader ? Also for some reason the VSH menu dosent load on my psp and the switch-off R button trick dosent work too.

Need help modding PSP!!!?

So I have the psp 2000 Daxter Edition and was hoping to mod it. I pulled it out of my bedroom and thought i might as well give it a try. I want a method that doesnt involve a pandora battery or a magic memory stick. My current firmware is on 6.31, i can update to 6.39. This is North American version and i am not sure what firmware it was installed with. A link to a straight forward tutorial would be great. Only give me a link that has been confirmed to work on my psp!!!!! (I’m more of an iphone/Ipod geek which is why i need help with this)
