I’m trying to build a hydroelectric generator…?

I\’m trying to build a hydroelectric generator…?

It’s for a science electricity fair, but im kind of confused about some things. For one, it asks for a large amount of insulated copper wire with which im supposed to make 4 coils of about 200 turns each. But with insulated wire, the insulation is so thick, so how would i get enough to make 200 turns for each coil? The source im using says i need about 100 yard, which is already a ton, but with insulated wire it doesnt seem like enough. Also, it calls for neodymium magnets, which are permanent rare earth magnets. I cant really find any nearby, so would another rare earth magnet work? Somebody else told me that a ceramic magnet works (http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/SpecialtyTools/MechanicsSpecialtyTools/PRD~0586808P/All-Purpose+Magnets.jsp?locale=en) but for a hydroelectric generator it seems like it needs disc shaped magnets which have different poles on the top and bottom sides. Does that ceramic magnet work and how? If anybody could help me with this it would be appreciated :)
