PSP – "The Memory Stick could not be accessed." What!?!?

PSP – "The Memory Stick could not be accessed." What!?!?
I put my memory stick it my psp and it told me it could not be accessed. Please help!
It still has the memory from my game, but when i try to play it, it says that. i really don’t want to wipe out all the memory i have on my game!
